Deputy Mayor of Makassar Dr Syamsu Rizal MI, attended the inauguration of the board of Indonesian Online Journalists (Join) of South Sulawesi, at Ibis Hotel, Jl Ratulangi, Makassar, Saturday (04/08/2018).

In this inauguration, as many as 40 joint organizers were inaugurated by the Acting Secretary of the Province of South Sulawesi, Tautoto Taranggina. On the occasion, Deng Ical, the nickname of Wawali Makassar, congratulated all the administrators of the South Sulawesi Indonesia Online Journalists who had just been appointed.

"So don't ever think that the join organization is only for the next one to two years. But it is hoped that the join organization will become a mainstay organization that can provide news of the truth," he said.

He also said that the inauguration was not just about wanting to play gagahan or wearing clothes that had a join logo on the chest so we looked cool. "But don't just consider it cool, because this cool and join logo has a big responsibility.

Because people want it later if joining who spread new news is considered credible is no longer a hoax, it is a tremendous responsibility to join as well as community expectations in the future , "he concluded.

Therefore, this Golkar politician asks all South Sulawesi joint administrators to take an active role in responding to any developments in actual developments that often occur beyond our expectations, especially in relation to the hoax distribution of news.

"We hope that the joint committee, which is fronted by people who have strong capacity and credibility, is expected to be able to play an active role in combating any hoax news spread to the public," hoped the Golkar politician, To Join News Network (JNN) while asked Pilwalkot 2020's upcoming readiness.

According to him, in reducing the spread of hoax or fake news, what is needed now is people who have the confidence and willingness to dare to clarify every hoax news.
